NDC National Executives bade a tearful farewell to Reuben Atta today



The National Executives of the NDC under the Chairmanship of Hon Samuel Ofosu Ampofo today, 8th May, 2021, mourned with the entire Western North NDC over the demise of Mr Reuben Atta Agyemang Prempeh Snr, a vibrant youth activist of the party in the Bibiani Ahwiaso Bekwai Constituency and Madam Cecilia Darkwah, the mother of Mr Jerry Kankam, Reg Vice Chairman of the NDC - Western North.

The National Chairman was accompanied by the General Secretary of the party, Hon Johnson Asiedu Nketia, Lawyer Barbara Asamoah(Dep Gen Sec), Mr Boamah Otokunor(Dep Gen Sec), Mr Joshua Akamba(Nat Org), Mr Kobby Barlon(Dep Nat Org), Madam Maame Efua Aidoo a deputy National Women’s Organiser and Mr Augustus Nana Kwasi Andrew, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the NDC.


The Western North Regional Chairman, Mr Michael Aidoo who led the delegation first graced the funeral rites of the late Reuben Atta Agyemang Prempeh Snr and later to sympathize with the family of Mr Jerry Kankam.

The sorrowful but colorful event energized the base of the party in the BAB constituency and the region at large. In a short meeting, the National Executives preached peace and unity among party supporters.

Also present at the funeral were Comrade Solomon Nkansah, a former National Communications Officer, Hon Evans Paul Aidoo(former Regional Minister), Hon Kwabena Mintah Akandoh(MP - Juaboso), Hon Oscar Larbi(MP - Aowin), Hon Joseph Bertino(MP - Suaman) and Hon Mathias Ntow a former MP for Aowin.
