Rawlings' burial service could've been exceptional coordinated if NDC had been included – Otokunor

 



Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Peter Boamah Otokunor, has noticed that the NDC, a gathering framed by the late Former President Rawlings was avoided from the association of the memorial service of the late previous President. 


He said the progressing service would have been exceptional coordinated if the NDC had been engaged with the arranging by the public authority. 


Mr Otokunor said these in a meeting with TV3's Komla Adom subsequent to recording past the remaining parts of Mr Rawlings at the Accra International Conference Center on Monday January 25

As far as concerns him, the Director of Elections for the NDC, Elvis Afriyie Ankrah said the late previous President Rawlings utilized state assets to serve the individuals of Ghana when he was the head of state, 


He disclosed to TV3's Komla Adom after additionally documenting past the remaining parts of the late Founder of the NDC that Mr Rawlings never gained abundance to the detriment of Ghanaians.

The Metropolitan Archbishop of Cape Coast, Gabriel Palmer-Buckle, has advised Ghanaians to live by the standards of honesty, straightforwardness and responsibility campaign that the late previous President Jerry John Rawlings represented. 


He said this is the most ideal approach to recall the late Founder of the National Democratic Congress (NDC). 


Conveying a lesson during a memorial mass held for the late previous President on Sunday January 24, Palmer-Buckle said "This is the ideal opportunity to look with changed and unprejudiced eyes at his own campaign of fidelity , straightforwardness and responsibility. 


"Allow us to make vows today within the sight of God to work reliably to set up these excellencies of honesty, responsibility and straightforwardness in our own individual lives and in the social and political life and administration of our nation Ghana. 


"This will be the most commendable inheritance and landmark we can work to his name.
